Job Duties
- Bag groceries at checkout for customers
- Strive to bag at least five items while ensuring no damage to contents
- Follow best practices for bagging with reusable, plastic, and paper bags
- Assist customers by removing merchandise from basket for checkout
- Offer assistance with loading bags into customer vehicles
- Perform basic shelf stocking and conditioning
- Inform customers about grocery specials
- Return merchandise to store shelves
- Gather and return shopping carts to designated areas
- Clean spills and pick up trash inside store and parking lot
- Clean areas inside and outside the store
- Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
- Locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers
- Comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
- Adhere to food safety regulations
- Inspect equipment and notify management of maintenance needs
- Create a welcoming environment for customers
- Follow local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
- Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment
- Manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
- Act with honesty and integrity
