Job Qualifications
- Retail experience is preferred but not necessary
- Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced environment
- Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable and cooperative manner

Job Duties
- Bag groceries at checkout for customers
- Strive to bag at least five items per bag while avoiding damage
- Follow best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, and paper bags
- Assist with removing merchandise from bottom of basket
- Offer to help customers load bags into their cars
- Perform basic shelf conditioning
- Inform customers of grocery specials
- Return merchandise to store shelves
- Gather shopping baskets and return them to designated areas
- Clean spills and collect trash inside store and parking lot
- Clean all areas inside and outside of the store
- Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
- Know the store layout and assist with locating products and price checks
- Comply with safety procedures and notify management of unsafe conditions
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs
- Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions
- Follow all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
- Work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
- Act with honesty and integrity
- Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary
