Job Duties
- Bag groceries for customers at checkout
- strive for five items per bag while preventing damage
- follow best practices for bagging with different types of bags
- assist customers by removing merchandise from baskets
- help customers load bags into cars
- perform basic shelf conditioning
- inform customers of grocery specials
- return merchandise to shelves
- gather and return baskets
- clean spills and collect trash inside and outside store
- clean all store areas
- handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
- understand store layout and conduct price checks
- comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
- adhere to food safety regulations
- inspect equipment and report repair needs
- create welcoming environment for customers
- comply with local, state, and federal laws
- work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
- manage conflicts reasonably
- act with honesty and integrity
- follow directions and seek assistance when needed
- support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- perform essential functions with or without accommodation
