Job Duties
- Bag groceries for customers at checkout
- Strive for at least five items per bag while preventing damage
- Follow best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, and paper bags
- Assist customers by removing merchandise from carts for checkout
- Offer help loading bags into customers' vehicles
- Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking
- Inform customers of grocery specials
- Return merchandise to shelves
- Gather and return carts to designated areas
- Clean spills and pick up trash inside store and parking lot
- Clean interior and exterior store areas
- Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
- Understand store layout and conduct price checks
- Comply with safety programs and report hazards
- Adhere to food safety regulations
- Inspect equipment and report repair needs
- Create welcoming environment by answering customer questions
- Follow all local, state, federal laws and company policies
- Work cooperatively in fast-paced environment
- Manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
- Act with honesty and integrity
