Job Duties
- Grocery bagging at checkout
- Striving for efficiency with at least five items per bag while preventing damage
- Following best bagging practices for reusable, plastic, and paper bags
- Assisting customers by removing merchandise from bottoms of baskets
- Offering to help customers load bags into their cars
- Performing basic shelf conditioning
- Informing customers about grocery specials
- Returning merchandise to store shelves
- Gathering and returning bascarts to designated areas
- Cleaning spills and collecting trash inside store and parking lot
- Cleaning all areas inside and outside of store
- Handling and assembling seasonal merchandise
- Locating products and conducting price checks for cashiers
- Adhering to safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions
- Following food safety regulations
- Inspecting equipment for maintenance needs and notifying management
- Creating a welcoming environment for customers
- Compliance with all laws and company guidelines
- Managing conflicts cooperatively
- Acting with honesty and integrity
- Providing support and assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
