Job Duties
- Bag groceries at checkout for customers
- Strive to bag at least five items while preventing damage
- Follow best practices for bagging using reusable, plastic, and paper bags
- Assist customers by removing merchandise from baskets
- Offer help with loading bags into customers' cars
- Perform basic shelf conditioning
- Inform customers of grocery specials
- Return merchandise to store shelves
- Gather baskets and return to designated areas
- Clean spills and remove trash inside store and parking lot
- Clean inside and outside store areas
- Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
- Locate products and conduct price checks
- Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions
- Adhere to food safety regulations
- Inspect equipment and report repairs needed
- Create a welcoming environment for customers
- Follow local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
- Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment
- Manage conflict reasonably and nonconfrontationally
- Act with honesty and integrity
