Job Duties
- Bag groceries at checkout with care to avoid damage
- Follow best practices for bagging items in reusable, plastic, or paper bags
- Assist customers with loading bags into their cars
- Perform basic shelf conditioning and return merchandise to shelves
- Gather shopping carts and maintain designated areas
- Clean spills, collect trash inside store and parking lot
- Communicate grocery specials to customers
- Reinforce safety programs and comply with safety procedures
- Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
- Understand store layout to assist customers and cashiers
- Adhere to food safety regulations and company guidelines
- Inspect equipment and report repair needs
- Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Maintain a welcoming and respectful environment for customers
- Manage conflicts reasonably and cooperatively
