Job Duties
- Bag groceries at checkout with care and efficiency
- Strive for at least five items per bag without damage
- Follow best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, and paper bags
- Assist customers by removing merchandise from baskets for checkout
- Offer help with loading groceries into customers' cars
- Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking
- Inform customers about grocery specials
- Return merchandise to store shelves
- Collect and return baskets to designated areas
- Clean spills and trash inside store and parking lot
- Clean all store areas inside and outside
- Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
- Locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers
- Comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
- Inspect equipment and report repair needs
- Create a welcoming environment for customers
- Follow local, state, federal laws and company guidelines
- Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
- Manage conflicts reasonably and nonconfrontationally
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding information
