Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical tasks involved in bagging and store maintenance
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Compliance with safety and food safety standards
- Ability to lift and carry bags and merchandise
- Availability to assist customers courteously and professionally

Job Duties
- Bag groceries at check out for customers
- Strive to bag at least five items while preventing damage
- Follow best bagging practices for reusable, plastic, and paper bags
- Assist customers by removing merchandise from bottom of bascarts
- Offer help with loading bags into customer vehicles
- Perform basic shelf conditioning
- Inform customers about grocery specials
- Return merchandise to store shelves
- Gather and return bascarts to designated areas
- Clean spills and pick up trash inside store and parking lot
- Clean all store areas inside and outside
- Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
- Locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers
- Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
- Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed
- Create welcoming and appreciative environment for customers
- Follow all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
- Work cooperatively in high-paced and stressful situations
- Manage conflict in a nonconfrontational manner
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding information
- Follow directions and seek help as needed
- Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Perform essential functions with or without accommodation
