Job Duties
- Bag groceries at checkout
- strive for at least five items per bag while preventing damage
- follow best practices for bagging reusable, plastic, and paper bags
- assist customers by removing merchandise from bottom of bascarts
- offer help loading bags into cars
- perform basic shelf conditioning
- inform customers of grocery specials
- return merchandise to store shelves
- gather bascarts and return to designated areas
- clean spills and pick up trash inside store and parking lot
- clean all areas inside and outside of store
- handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
- locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers
- comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
- adhere to food safety regulations
- inspect equipment and report needed repairs
- create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions
- comply with all relevant laws and company guidelines
- work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
- manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
- act with honesty regarding customer and business information
- follow directions and seek assistance as needed
- provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
