Job Duties

Bag groceries at checkout for customers
Strive to bag at least five items per bag while preventing damage
Follow best practices for using different types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper)
Assist customers by removing merchandise from the bottom of baskets
Offer help with loading bags into customers' cars
Perform basic shelf conditioning
Inform customers of grocery specials
Return merchandise to store shelves
Collect and return bascarts to designated areas
Clean spills and pick up trash inside the store and parking lot
Clean all areas inside and outside the store
Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
Understand store layout to locate products and perform price checks for cashiers
Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions
Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
Inspect equipment and notify management of repair needs
Create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions
Adhere to local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
Work cooperatively in a fast-paced and stressful environment
Manage conflicts in a reasonable and cooperative manner
Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary
