Job Duties
- Bag groceries efficiently while ensuring items are not damaged
- Follow best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, or paper bags
- Assist customers by removing merchandise from basket for checkout
- Offer help loading bags into customers' cars
- Perform basic shelf conditioning and return merchandise to shelves
- Gather and return bascarts to designated areas
- Clean spills and collect trash inside store and parking lot
- Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
- Conduct price checks and locate products for cashiers
- Reinforce safety programs by identifying unsafe conditions and notifying management
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and company guidelines
- Practice preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and reporting issues
- Create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions
- Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
- Manage conflict in a reasonable and cooperative manner
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary
- Provide support through interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
