Job Duties
- Bag groceries at checkout ensuring items are not damaged
- strive for at least five items per bag
- follow best practices for bagging reusable, plastic, and paper bags
- assist customers by removing merchandise from cart bottoms for checkout
- offer help loading bags into customers' cars
- perform basic shelf conditioning
- inform customers of grocery specials
- return merchandise to store shelves
- gather and return carts to designated areas
- clean spills and pick up trash inside store and parking lot
- maintain cleanliness inside and outside of store
- handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
- locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers
- comply with safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions
- adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
- inspect equipment and report repairs needed
- create welcoming environment by answering product questions
- comply with local, state and federal laws and company guidelines
- work cooperatively in high-paced environment
- manage conflict reasonably and nonconfrontationally
- act with honesty and integrity
- follow directions and seek assistance when needed
- provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- perform essential functions with or without accommodation
