Job Duties
- Bag groceries accurately and efficiently while protecting items from damage
- Assist customers with loading groceries into their vehicles
- Remove merchandise from bottom of baskets for checkout
- Follow best practices for bagging items in reusable, plastic, and paper bags
- Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise
- Inform customers of grocery specials and promotions
- Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, collecting trash, and tidying store areas and parking lot
- Return carts and baskets to designated areas
- Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise displays
- Conduct price checks and assist cashiers with product location
- Comply with safety programs and report unsafe conditions
- Adhere to food safety regulations
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs
- Provide courteous and respectful customer service adhering to company values
- Manage conflicts in a nonconfrontational manner
- Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary
- Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff
