Job Duties
- Bag groceries for customers at checkout
- Follow best practices for bagging various types of bags
- Assist customers with loading bags into their vehicles
- Remove merchandise from bottom of shopping carts for checkout
- Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking
- Inform customers about grocery specials
- Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills and collecting trash inside and outside store
- Return merchandise to store shelves
- Gather and return shopping carts to designated areas
- Assemble seasonal merchandise
- Conduct price checks and assist cashiers
- Comply with safety procedures and report hazards
- Adhere to food safety regulations
- Inspect equipment and report repairs
- Provide welcoming customer service and answer product questions
- Manage conflict cooperatively
- Act with honesty and integrity
- Follow directions and seek assistance as needed
- Support individuals with special needs and diverse customers
