Job Duties
- Bag groceries at checkout for customers
- Strive for at least five items in each bag while ensuring items are not damaged
- Follow best practices for bagging items in reusable, plastic, and paper bags
- Assist customers by removing merchandise from the bottom of baskets for checkout
- Offer help loading bags into customers' cars
- Perform basic shelf conditioning
- Inform customers of grocery specials
- Return merchandise to store shelves
- Gather baskets and return them to designated areas
- Clean spills and collect trash inside store and parking lot
- Clean all areas inside and outside of store
- Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
- Locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers
- Comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to management
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
- Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed
- Answer customer questions regarding products and store layout
- Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
- Manage conflicts in a reasonable and cooperative manner
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve customer issues
- Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
