Job Duties
- Bag groceries at checkout for customers
- Ensure at least five items are bagged safely without damage
- Follow best practices for bagging reusable, plastic, and paper bags
- Assist customers by removing merchandise from the bottom of baskets
- Help load bags into customer vehicles
- Perform basic shelf conditioning
- Inform customers of grocery specials
- Return merchandise to store shelves
- Gather and return baskets to designated areas
- Clean spills and pick up trash inside store and parking lot
- Clean all areas inside and outside of store
- Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
- Locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers
- Comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
- Adhere to all food safety regulations
- Inspect equipment for maintenance needs and notify management
- Answer customer questions regarding products
- Follow local, state and federal laws and company guidelines
- Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
- Manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding information
- Follow directions and seek assistance when needed
- Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Perform essential functions with or without accommodation
