Job Duties
- Bag groceries at check out for customers
- Strive for at least five items per bag without damaging contents
- Follow best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, and paper bags
- Assist in removing customer merchandise from bottom of basket
- Offer help loading bags into customers' cars
- Perform basic shelf conditioning
- Inform customers of grocery specials
- Return merchandise to shelves
- Gather and return baskets to designated areas
- Clean spills and trash inside store and parking lot
- Clean all areas inside and outside the store
- Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
- Know store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks
- Follow safety programs and notify management of unsafe conditions
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
- Inspect equipment and report repair needs
- Create welcoming environment answering customer questions
- Comply with local, state, federal laws, and company guidelines
- Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
- Manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
- Act with honesty and integrity
- Follow directions and seek help when needed
- Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
