Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong customer service aptitude
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing
- Ability to adhere to safety and food handling regulations
- Availability to work flexible schedules

Job Duties
- Bag groceries carefully to protect items
- Ensure at least five items per bag while preventing damage
- Follow best bagging practices for various bag types
- Assist with removing merchandise from bottom of baskets
- Help customers load groceries into their vehicles
- Perform basic shelf conditioning and restock merchandise
- Inform customers of grocery specials
- Gather and return baskets to designated areas
- Clean spills and collect trash inside and outside the store
- Maintain cleanliness of all store areas
- Assemble seasonal merchandise displays
- Locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers
- Reinforce safety protocols and report unsafe conditions
- Adhere to food safety regulations and company policies
- Perform preventive maintenance and notify management of equipment issues
- Create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions
- Work cooperatively in high-paced, stressful environments
- Manage conflict professionally and cooperatively
- Act with honesty and integrity in all dealings
- Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary
- Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Perform essential functions with or without accommodation
