Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- retail experience preferred but not required

Job Duties
- Bag groceries at checkout for customers
- strive for at least five items in each bag while preventing damage
- follow best practices for bagging items in different bag types such as reusable, plastic, and paper
- assist customers by removing merchandise from the bottom of carts
- offer help with loading bags into customers’ cars
- perform basic shelf conditioning
- inform customers about grocery specials
- return merchandise to store shelves
- gather carts and return them to designated areas
- clean spills and collect trash inside the store and parking lot
- clean all areas inside and outside the store
- handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
- understand and navigate the store layout
- conduct price checks for cashiers
- comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
- adhere to all food safety regulations
- inspect equipment and report repair needs
- create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions
- follow all local, state, and federal laws and company policies
- work cooperatively under high-paced and stressful conditions
- manage conflict respectfully and cooperatively
- act with honesty and integrity regarding business information
- provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
