Job Duties
- Bag groceries at checkout for customers
- Strive to bag at least five items ensuring no damage
- Follow best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, or paper bags
- Assist customers in removing merchandise from bottom of baskets
- Offer help loading bags into customers' cars
- Perform basic shelf conditioning
- Inform customers of grocery specials
- Return merchandise to shelves
- Gather baskets and return to designated areas
- Clean spills and collect trash in store and parking lot
- Clean all areas inside and outside of store
- Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
- Locate products and conduct price checks
- Comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
- Adhere to food safety regulations
- Inspect equipment and report repairs
- Create a welcoming environment for customers
- Follow local, state, federal laws and company guidelines
- Work cooperatively in high-paced environments
- Manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
- Act with honesty and integrity
- Follow directions and seek assistance when needed
- Support minors, individuals with special needs, older adults
