Job Duties
- Bag groceries at checkout for customers
- strive for at least five items in each bag without damaging contents
- follow best practices for bagging in various bag types (reusable, plastic, paper)
- assist customers by removing merchandise from the bottom of baskets
- help load bags into customers' cars
- perform basic shelf conditioning
- inform customers of grocery specials
- return merchandise to store shelves
- gather and return baskets to designated areas
- clean spills and collect trash inside store and parking lot
- clean all indoor and outdoor store areas
- handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
- locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers
- comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
- adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
- inspect equipment and report necessary repairs
- create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions
- follow all local, state, federal laws, and company guidelines
- work cooperatively in high-paced and stressful environments
- manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
- act with honesty and integrity
- follow directions and seek assistance when needed
- support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
