Job Duties
- Bag groceries at checkout for customers
- Ensure at least five items per bag while preventing damage
- Follow best bagging practices for reusable, plastic, and paper bags
- Assist customers with loading bags into cars
- Remove merchandise from bottom of baskets for checkout
- Perform basic shelf conditioning
- Inform customers of grocery specials
- Return merchandise to store shelves
- Gather and return baskets to designated areas
- Clean spills and collect trash inside store and parking lot
- Clean all areas inside and outside store
- Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
- Locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers
- Comply with safety procedures and notify management of unsafe conditions
- Adhere to food safety regulations
- Inspect equipment and report repair needs
- Create welcoming environment by answering customer questions
- Follow all laws and company guidelines
- Work cooperatively in high-paced environment
- Manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- Follow directions and seek assistance when needed
- Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults through direct interaction
