Job Duties
- Bag groceries for customers with care and efficiency
- Strive to place at least five items per bag without damage
- Follow best practices for bagging with various bag types including reusable, plastic, and paper
- Assist customers by removing merchandise from the bottom of their basket during checkout
- Offer help loading bags into customers' vehicles
- Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking
- Inform customers of grocery specials
- Return merchandise to shelves
- Collect and return baskets to designated areas
- Clean spills and pick up trash inside store and parking lot
- Maintain cleanliness of all store areas
- Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise
- Locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers
- Comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
- Adhere to food safety regulations
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs
- Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers with questions
- Follow all laws and company guidelines
- Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
- Manage conflicts reasonably and non-confrontationally
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- Seek assistance when needed to resolve issues
