Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 0-3 years of retail or customer service experience grocery is a plus
  • able to retrieve and push carts in all weather conditions
  • able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • comfortable standing walking bending and reaching throughout your shift
  • able to work in a busy store with lots of customer interaction and interruptions

Job Duties

  • Retrieve carts all throughout the day in all weather
  • organize carts keeping them clean and ready to go
  • greet customers and help them feel welcome as they shop
  • assist cashiers by bagging groceries and offering carry-out service when needed
  • keep the self-checkout area tidy and jump in to help when needed
  • answer phones and direct calls with a helpful upbeat attitude
  • tidy up customer areas like restrooms and seating areas and restock utensils and napkins
  • return misplaced items to their shelves and verify prices when requested
  • follow all safety procedures and report any concerns right away
  • pitch in wherever needed other tasks may be assigned by managers or leads
