Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • minimum of 5 plus years in specialty area
  • 3 plus years as an instructor preferred
  • experience as a pilot in business aviation or air carrier preferred
  • maintain FlightSafety International’s commitment to customer satisfaction
  • accountable for the security of company materials and information
  • accountable for accuracy and completeness of tasks
  • manage project scope within assigned timeframe
  • adhere to required work schedule including prompt regular attendance
  • report safety hazards timely
  • work with courseware development teams
  • proficiency with Microsoft Suite

Job Qualifications

  • experience as a pilot in business aviation or air carrier preferred
  • knowledgeable about business and commercial aviation safety
  • proficiency with Microsoft Suite
  • ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
  • strong communication and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Develops and implements new courseware and maintains existing courseware ensuring end user ability to meet learning objectives
  • authors scripts for short videos and elearning courses on various aviation safety topics
  • interprets aviation data and applies to content development
  • constructs courseware in compliance with FAA/EASA and other National Aviation Authority regulatory guidelines including FSB/OSD training levels and special emphasis requirements
  • supports regulatory/operational evaluations including OEM reviews and dry runs
  • provides support for new program standup, training needs analysis and documentation
  • accomplishes course observations to stay familiar with delivery impact and methodology
  • supports resolution of courseware errata within designated timelines
  • evaluates products/devices and obtains feedback after end user testing
  • reads OEM engineering documents and publications and recommends updates based on technical accuracy
  • drives courseware best practices using FlightSafety standards
  • independently seeks accurate, complete, and up to date information
  • works with OEMs as needed
  • occasional travel may be required
