Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- at least six months courier experience preferred
- must be 21 years or older
- valid driver’s license consistent with vehicle operated
- good driving record
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- ability to use equipment to maneuver packages over 50 lbs
- able to read and speak English
- meet federal motor carrier safety regulations
- pass medical exam according to FMCSA or FAA regulations
- neat appearance
- willingness to comply with company policies and federal employment laws
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- six months courier experience preferred
- ability to demonstrate knowledge of delivery area
- good human relations and verbal communication skills
- ability to lift 50 lbs and handle heavier packages with assistance
- valid driver’s license and good driving record
- able to read and speak English sufficiently to comply with traffic regulations
- at least 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles for pick up and delivery of packages
- check shipments for conformance to FedEx service features
- provide coverage for assigned routes within station service area
- deliver courteous and efficient customer service
- adhere to federal motor carrier safety regulations
- maintain neat appearance for customer contact
- perform other duties as assigned
