Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- No prior experience required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to use equipment or assistance when handling packages over 50 lbs
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to read and understand English traffic signs and instructions
- Valid driver license for assigned vehicle
- Neat appearance
- Ability to work safely and maintain constant alertness
- Must comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration guidelines as applicable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs using equipment or assistance
- Good human relations and communication skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials
- Must hold a valid license for the assigned vehicle type
Job Duties
- Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide related customer service functions
- Drive vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
