- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- meet federal motor carrier safety regulations including section 391
- pass FMCSA or FAA medical exam
- at least 21 years old
- proficient in English communication
- maintain neat appearance
- ability to work safely and alertly
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- valid driver’s license for the assigned vehicle type
- ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance
- good verbal communication skills
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials
- meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- medical certification as per FMCSA or FAA regulations
- at least 21 years of age
- driver’s license held for at least three years
Job Duties
- drive and operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
- check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- provide courteous and efficient customer service
- adhere to federal motor carrier safety regulations
- perform medical and safety checks as required
- maintain neat appearance and professionalism during customer contact
- perform other duties as assigned
