Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to use appropriate equipment for heavier packages
- Ability to work part-time shifts as scheduled
- Meet medical exam requirements per FMCSA
- Ability to read and speak English
- Age 21 or older
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid license for type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with safety officials
- Ability to meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Ability to work safely and remain alert
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide related customer service functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain neat appearance and professional demeanor
- Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Communicate effectively with customers and traffic safety officials
