Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- licensed for the assigned vehicle type
- able to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or assistance
- good verbal communication and customer service skills
- meet medical exam requirements as per FMCSA or FAA regulations
- ability to work safely and remain alert
- minimum age of 21
- ability to read and communicate in English
- comply with FMCSA safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- valid license for assigned vehicle type
- ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or assistance
- good human relations and verbal communication skills
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently for compliance with traffic and safety regulations
- must be at least 21 years old
- maintain qualifications under FMCSA safety regulations
- experience driving for at least three years preferred
Job Duties
- Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages
- checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- provides related customer service functions
- operates company vehicles safely and in compliance with regulations
- performs other duties as assigned
- maintains neat appearance and professionalism during customer interactions
- adheres to safety standards including medical and regulatory requirements
