Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the assigned vehicle type
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with assistance or equipment
- Meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- Medical exam required
- Ability to maintain alertness and safety during work
- Neat appearance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills

Job Duties
- Drive and operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
- Inspect shipments for compliance with FedEx service standards
- Provide courteous and effective customer service during deliveries and pickups
- Adhere to all federal motor carrier safety regulations
- Perform physical handling of packages up to 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance or equipment
- Maintain neat appearance and professional conduct as customer contact is frequent
- Complete all assigned duties responsibly and in a timely manner
