Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid license for assigned vehicle type
- Ability to lift and maneuver packages up to and above 50 lbs with assistance if needed
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Meet Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations including medical examination
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Pass medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Non-covered safety-sensitive position
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- Ability to work alertly and safely
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles efficiently
- Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide related customer service functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain neat appearance
- Ensure compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
