Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle
- meet medical examination requirements in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with equipment or assistance
- good human relations and communication skills
- neat appearance
- meet section 391 FMCSA safety qualifications
- age minimum 21 years
- ability to read and speak English adequately
- pass required medical exam
- maintain constant alertness and safe working practices
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle
- good human relations and verbal communication skills
- ability to understand and speak English sufficiently
- meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance
- ability to work in a safe and alert manner
- must be at least 21 years old
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles for delivery and pick-up of packages
- check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- provide courteous and efficient customer service
- comply with federal motor carrier safety regulations
- perform physical lifting and maneuvering of packages
- maintain neat appearance for customer interactions
- complete other duties as assigned
