Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Licensed for the type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver heavier packages with equipment or assistance
- Good human relations skills
- Neat appearance
- Pass medical exam in accordance with FMCSA
- Ability to work alertly and safely
- Must understand English sufficiently to communicate with safety officials
- Non-covered safety-sensitive position
- Monday to Friday 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM shift
- Obtain Ramp/Port ID within 90 days of hire
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license for assigned vehicle type
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic compliance
- Knowledge of safety regulations under FMCSA
- Experience in customer service preferred
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
- Check shipments for compliance with FedEx features of service
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service
- Adhere to safety and Federal Motor Carrier regulations
- Obtain Ramp/Port ID within 90 days of hire
- Perform medical examinations as required
- Maintain neat appearance and communicate effectively with customers
