Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
- Must pass medical exam according to FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries
- Must maintain neat appearance
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle type
- Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Ability to lift and maneuver packages up to and above 50 lbs
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficient for safety and communication
- Medical certification as required
- Minimum age of 21 years
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
- Check shipments for compliance with FedEx features of service
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service
- Perform package handling including lifting and maneuvering
- Adhere to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Maintain neat appearance and professional demeanor
- Perform other duties as assigned
