Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid license for the type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with equipment or assistance
- Good verbal communication skills
- Neat appearance
- Must meet section 391 of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Ability to read and speak English adequately
- Must be at least 21 years old
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid license for assigned vehicle type
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- Meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations section 391 qualifications
- Ability to work safely and remain alert
- Minimum age of 21 years
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service features
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service
- Lift and maneuver packages over 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance
- Adhere to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including medical and licensing requirements
- Maintain neat appearance and communicate effectively with customers and traffic officials
- Perform other duties as assigned
