Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for type of vehicle assigned
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages heavier than 50 lbs with assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Neat appearance
- Must meet section 391 FMCSA qualifications
- Medical exam compliance
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently
- Ability to work safely and alertly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle type
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- Must meet the qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Must pass medical exams in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
- Must be at least 21 years old
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently
- courteously interact with customers during deliveries and pick-ups
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Assist customers with related service functions
- Maintain neat appearance and professional demeanor
- Adhere to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and company safety standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
