Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid license for the assigned vehicle
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance
- Meet FMCSA section 391 qualifications including medical exam
- Good communication skills in English
- Neat personal appearance
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday 2pm to 8pm with a Sunday and weekday off
- Must pass medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with proper equipment
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- Must meet FMCSA section 391 qualifications
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safety
Job Duties
- Drive and operate company vehicles for delivery and pick-up of packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service
- Perform package handling including lifting of up to 50 lbs and maneuvering heavier packages with assistance
- Adhere to all safety regulations including FMCSA requirements
- Maintain a neat appearance to represent the company professionally
- Perform other duties as assigned
