Job Qualifications
- engaging, warm, and welcoming communication skills
- passion for and deep knowledge of coffee menu, bakery and savory offerings, and genuine hospitality
- desire to help where needed and work as part of a team
- flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends, holidays, and afternoons/evenings
- barista team members ideally have at least 1 year of experience as a barista using manual espresso equipment in fast-paced restaurant/cafe
- ability to provide high-quality guest service
- knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- provides gracious and high-quality service to guests by welcoming them and engaging throughout their experience
- determine guests' needs by asking questions and sharing product knowledge
- have comprehensive knowledge of all Tatte products
- take guests' orders using point-of-sale system/register
- execute all Tatte product and packaging standards
- deliver coffee beverages and food to guests
- maintain clean and well-stocked cafe stations
- actively maintain and support cafe cleanliness and visual/brand standards
- comply with and follow all safety and sanitation standards at all times while adhering to policies and procedures
- prepare and serve beverages according to Tatte recipes and specifications
- answer guests' questions about offerings
- follow all recipe and presentation standards for beverages
- operate all barista station equipment according to standards
- keep the bar including bar equipment clean and sanitary in accordance with applicable standards and well-stocked with inventory
- deliver artistic espresso beverages
- other duties as assigned
