Job Requirements
- Strong communication skills to warmly engage with guests and team members
- Passion for and deep knowledge of coffee menu, bakery, and savory offerings
- Desire to help where needed and work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Physical ability to lift, move, and carry 50+ lbs
- Ability to work 8+ hours a day on feet
- Must comply with all safety and sanitation standards at all times
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience as a barista using manual espresso equipment in a fast-paced restaurant or café (preferred for barista positions)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for hospitality and deep knowledge of coffee and food offerings
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Provides gracious and high-quality service to guests by welcoming them to cafes and engaging with them throughout their experience
- Determines guests' needs by asking questions and sharing product knowledge
- Has comprehensive knowledge of all Tatte products
- Takes guests' orders using point-of-sale system/register
- Executes all Tatte product and packaging standards
- Delivers coffee beverages and food to guests
- Maintains clean and well-stocked café stations
- Actively maintains and supports café cleanliness and visual/brand standards
- Complies with and follows all safety and sanitation standards while adhering to policies and procedures
- Operates barista station equipment according to standards
- Prepares and serves beverages according to Tatte recipes and specifications
- Keeps bar clean and sanitary in accordance with applicable standards and well-stocked with inventory
- Delivers beautiful and artistic espresso beverages
- Answers guests' questions about offerings
- Other duties as assigned
