Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • money handling experience or equivalent education and/or work experience
  • proficiency with currency counting equipment and 10-key adding machine
  • ability to follow specific procedures
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • minimum age of 21 years
  • ability to obtain necessary gaming licenses
  • good interpersonal skills
  • availability for flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • physical capability to lift 40 pounds and perform prolonged standing, walking, stooping, reaching, bending and kneeling
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy, and smoking environment
  • regular, predictable attendance

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • money handling skills in a computer environment preferred
  • proficient use of currency counting equipment and 10-key adding machine
  • ability to handle standard situations with specific steps
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • must be at least 21 years of age
  • ability to obtain an Indiana Gaming License and/or an Indiana Horse Racing License
  • good interpersonal skills
  • availability to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • physically fit to perform job duties

Job Duties

  • assist in the collection, sorting, counting and recording of cash and gaming documents
  • operate drop carts to assist in the pickup, transfer, and delivery of funds
  • move quickly throughout the gaming floor and complete repetitive motions
  • collect funds from slot machines
  • process and provide accurate financial records from the daily count
  • count, strap, and wrap funds
  • assist in training new team members
  • ensure count room is clean and orderly including sweeping floors, cleaning equipment, and dusting shelves
  • provide excellent customer service to employees and vendors in all situations
