Job Requirements
- 1+ years of experience as a professional cook in a high-volume production or fine dining restaurant is preferred
- Knowledge of Italian and/or fine dining cuisine and cooking techniques
- Ability to work part-time 24-30 hours per week including Fridays, Saturdays, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to use kitchen equipment safely
- Ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong attention to detail and plate presentation
- Ability to assist kitchen leadership during service
Job Qualifications
- 1+ years of prior experience as a professional cook in a high-volume production or fine dining restaurant is preferred
- Strong knowledge of Italian and/or fine dining cuisines and cooking techniques is a bonus
- Willing and able to work part-time schedule, consisting of 24-30 hours per week
- Fridays and Saturdays are a must including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Maintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques
- Identify and safely use kitchen equipment
- Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service
- Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
- Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation
- Assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of service
- Maintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups
