Job Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience as a professional cook in a high-volume production or fine dining restaurant is preferred
  • Knowledge of Italian and/or fine dining cuisine and cooking techniques
  • Ability to work part-time 24-30 hours per week including Fridays, Saturdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to use kitchen equipment safely
  • Ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong attention to detail and plate presentation
  • Ability to assist kitchen leadership during service

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years of prior experience as a professional cook in a high-volume production or fine dining restaurant is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Italian and/or fine dining cuisines and cooking techniques is a bonus
  • Willing and able to work part-time schedule, consisting of 24-30 hours per week
  • Fridays and Saturdays are a must including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Maintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques
  • Identify and safely use kitchen equipment
  • Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service
  • Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
  • Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation
  • Assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of service
  • Maintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups
