Job Requirements
- Possession of Correctional Supervising Cook classification
- Successful completion of examination for Correctional Supervising Cook position
- Background check clearance
- Live Scan fingerprinting
- Tuberculosis testing and clearance
- Compliance with State of California employment regulations
- Valid email address for communication
Job Qualifications
- Experience in large-scale food preparation and supervision
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and kitchen staff
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and dietary standards
- Manage food preparation and service to meet the nutritional needs of the inmate population
- Maintain inventory and order supplies to ensure kitchen operations run smoothly
- Train and evaluate kitchen staff to maintain quality and efficiency
- Develop and implement food service policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other correctional staff to maintain a safe and secure facility environment
