Job Requirements
- High school or GED diploma
- One year of experience in institutional food preparation and services or commercial food service management or Correctional Officer experience
- Eligible for certification by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education & Training Standards Commission
- Ability to work any shift including rotating, fixed, or split shifts
- Ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime as required
- Commitment to maintaining sanitary food handling and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school or GED diploma
- Experience in institutional food preparation and service or commercial food service management
- Experience as a Correctional Officer considered an asset
- Knowledge of large-scale food production
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Effective communication skills
- Eligibility for certification by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education & Training Standards Commission
Job Duties
- Supervising offenders in food preparation and service areas
- Providing food production training to offenders
- Ensuring sanitary food handling practices
- Maintaining food service equipment
