Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years booking domestic and international travel
- Experience with Sabre GDS system
- Knowledge of travel codes and government regulations
- Strong computer, typing, and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible evening and weekend shifts
- Must obtain security clearance
- Pass credit, criminal, and employment background checks
- Ability to work remotely and maintain confidentiality
- Able to sit and work extended periods
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience booking domestic and international travel, complex international a plus
- Experience using a GDS system, Sabre required, Amadeus a plus
- Highly knowledgeable of city, airline, hotel, and car rental codes
- Knowledgeable of government travel requirements, visas, and passports
- Understanding of federal travel regulations, Fly America Act and Open Skies Agreement
- Strong computer and typing skills
- Ability to learn and use technology and multiple applications simultaneously
- Ability to consistently deliver excellent customer service
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent listening skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and accept feedback
- Able to present a professional and positive demeanor
- Ability to work remotely and meet home-office requirements
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Able to work evening, night, overnight, and weekend schedule
- Able to obtain security clearance
- Ability to pass credit, criminal, and employment background checks
Job Duties
- Answer calls and emails promptly from clients
- Utilize Sabre to book and issue airline, hotel, car, and other reservations
- Maintain sufficient account knowledge to assist clients without delay
- Check queues daily to ensure accuracy and completeness of issued tickets
- Maintain service non-stop programs including preferred vendors and waiver/favors
- Provide travel expertise and send quotes for international travel
- Meet KPIs including productivity and transactions
- Communicate with airlines on flight changes and upgrades
- Follow ADTRAV policies and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service with empathy
- Communicate effectively with other agents and employees
- Participate in ongoing training
- Represent ADTRAV values and maintain working relationships
- Adhere to company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
