Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years experience in travel booking
  • proficiency with Sabre GDS system
  • strong knowledge of travel codes and regulations
  • excellent computer and communication skills
  • ability to multitask and manage priorities
  • ability to work remotely
  • availability to work Monday-Friday 7am-7pm CT and some weekends
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • pass background checks including credit and criminal
  • success in training programs
  • ability to sit for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 2 years of experience booking domestic and international travel, complex international travel a plus
  • experience using GDS system, Sabre required, Amadeus a plus
  • highly knowledgeable of city, airline, hotel, and car rental codes
  • understanding of federal travel regulations, Fly America Act, and Open Skies Agreement
  • strong computer and typing skills including use of shortcut keys
  • experience learning and using technology and multiple applications simultaneously
  • ability to consistently deliver excellent customer service
  • experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • excellent listening skills able to respond to traveler needs and clarify as needed
  • strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy
  • highly self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
  • strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely and be open to feedback

Job Duties

  • Answer calls and emails promptly from clients requesting new travel arrangements or changes
  • utilize Sabre to book and issue airline, hotel, car, and other reservations accurately and efficiently
  • maintain sufficient account knowledge to assist clients without delay
  • check queues daily to ensure accuracy and completeness of issued tickets
  • maintain service non-stop programs such as preferred vendors, waiver/favors, RezCritiques, and vacation referrals
  • provide travel expertise to clients
  • send quotes for international travel, including checking rules for restrictions or non-refundable conditions
  • meet KPIs including productivity and transactions
  • communicate with airlines regarding flight changes, seating, upgrades and provide client updates
  • follow ADTRAV policies, procedures, and approved workflows
  • provide excellent customer service, demonstrate empathy, and resolve traveler issues
  • communicate effectively with other agents and employees
  • become knowledgeable in ADTRAV’s industry and customer base
  • participate in ongoing training for knowledge and skills development
  • represent ADTRAV by embracing company values and maintaining effective relationships
  • adhere to company policies and procedures
  • perform other duties as assigned
