Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience booking domestic and international travel
  • Proficiency with Sabre GDS system
  • Knowledge of city, airline, hotel, and car rental codes
  • Understanding of federal travel regulations including Fly America Act and Open Skies Agreement
  • Strong computer and typing skills
  • Ability to learn and navigate multiple technology applications
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Excellent listening abilities
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience booking domestic and international travel, with complex international travel experience preferred
  • Experience using a GDS system, Sabre required, Amadeus a plus
  • Highly knowledgeable of city, airline, hotel, and car rental codes
  • Understanding of federal travel regulations including the Fly America Act and Open Skies Agreement
  • Strong computer and typing skills, including ability to navigate multiple programs and use shortcut keys
  • Demonstrated aptitude in learning and using technology with multiple applications and monitors
  • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service internally and externally
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional listening skills with ability to understand and respond to traveler needs
  • Strong attention to detail ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Highly self-motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Answer calls and emails promptly from clients requesting new travel arrangements or changes to existing itineraries
  • Utilize Sabre to book and issue airline, hotel, car, and other reservations accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain sufficient account knowledge to assist clients without delay
  • Check queues daily to ensure accuracy and completeness of issued tickets
  • Maintain service non-stop programs such as preferred vendors, Waiver/Favors, RezCritiques, and Vacation Referrals
  • Provide travel expertise to clients and send quotes for international travel with clear explanation of restrictions
  • Meet KPIs including productivity and transaction targets, and maintain consistent attendance and schedule adherence
  • Communicate with airlines regarding flight changes, seating, and upgrades, providing updates to clients
  • Follow ADTRAV policies, procedures, and approved workflows for servicing travelers
  • Provide excellent customer service in every interaction showing empathy and problem-solving abilities
  • Collaborate effectively with other agents and employees to resolve issues and gather necessary information
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of ADTRAV's industry and customer base
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance skillsets and industry knowledge
  • Represent ADTRAV by upholding company values and maintaining strong relationships with employees, partners, vendors, and clients
  • Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
