Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in culinary leadership roles
  • Proven expertise in wood-grilled cuisine and seafood preparation
  • Experience managing multi-unit restaurant operations
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent required
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment

Job Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience in multi-unit casual or upscale casual restaurant operations
  • Proven success in wood-fired grilling, seafood preparation, and scratch cooking
  • Strong background in menu engineering, cost control, and team development
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent
  • Passion for hospitality and local craft beverages
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on approach to mentoring staff
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic market demands

Job Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of culinary operations including menu development, recipe standardization, and innovation
  • Lead kitchen teams in multiple locations providing hands-on training, coaching, and performance management
  • Collaborate with operations and front-of-house leaders to integrate culinary excellence with service philosophy
  • Conduct regular audits and quality control to maintain uniformity in food presentation, taste profiles, and portioning
  • Manage culinary budgeting, inventory control, and vendor relationships to optimize costs and quality
  • Drive culinary initiatives for new openings and concept evolutions including testing and refining dishes
  • Foster a positive, high-energy kitchen culture that supports growth and teamwork
