Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years progressive culinary management experience
  • At least 2 years multi-unit management
  • Experience managing a multi-state territory preferred
  • 3+ years full fiscal responsibility for culinary operations
  • ServSafe Manager Certification required
  • Ability to travel extensively up to 80% of the time
  • Capacity to lift weights over 25 pounds occasionally
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Able to work independently without direct supervision
  • Willingness to participate in teaching and client presentations
  • Commitment to compliance and regulatory standards
  • Ability to manage overhead budgets responsibly
  • Able to prioritize and meet deadlines for multiple projects

Job Qualifications

  • Diverse culinary experience including fine dining, high-volume restaurants, offsite catering, resorts, and related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive back-of-house food service management experience
  • At least 2 years managing multi-unit, multi-venue settings
  • 3 years of full fiscal responsibility for culinary operations including P&L or management fee contracts
  • Proficiency with menu management technology and proprietary systems
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in teaching and public speaking
  • ServSafe Manager Certification required
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred with sponsorship available
  • Certified Executive Chef (CEC) or ProChef Certification Level II or III preferred
  • Bachelor's or associate degree in Culinary Arts preferred with equivalent experience accepted
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Job Duties

  • Generate enthusiasm throughout culinary, service and leadership teams to identify opportunities for improvement and deliver best-in-class experiences
  • Mentor and develop talent through positive, hands-on leadership
  • Recruit, interview, test and onboard new culinary talent
  • Establish strong cross-functional leadership relationships with operations, marketing, nutrition, finance, and support teams
  • Lead culinary strategy development and deployment for designated Priority Accounts
  • Develop performance-driven relationships with clients and their teams through regular communication
  • Participate in business reviews and client engagements to manage relationships
  • Maintain reports and analyze performance, trends, and growth opportunities
  • Conduct site visits with planned agendas and follow-up documentation
  • Collaborate on review calls to activate long-term improvements
  • Tour and scope potential new client partnerships and present culinary plans
  • Lead culinary planning and launch activities for new business openings
  • Lead client improvement plans and support client retention
  • Guide regionalization and ensure consistent use of menus meeting diverse budget and service expectations
  • Ensure communities are prepared for regulatory inspections with high compliance scores
  • Participate in networking and showcase events
  • Perform additional duties as requested based on business priorities
